Streamline Enterprises Inc. is a general contracting company that specializes in residential and commercial construction, renovations, interior and exterior upgrades, and other construction projects. Our Office needs an Office Coordinator (NOC 13100 – Teer 3) who will be responsible for being the first point of contact for customer inquiries by phone or in person. The Office Coordinator will provide excellent customer service, assist with bookkeeping and payroll tasks, and assist with scheduling of labour and meetings. They will follow the company values and goals when making decisions and aim to enhance the brand and reputation of Streamline Enterprises in the community.
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties include but are not limited to:
Handling incoming calls, routing calls to appropriate personnel, and taking messages when necessary. Monitoring and responding to emails, organizing email inboxes, filtering spam, and ensuring important communications are addressed promptly.
• Coordinate meeting times, book conference rooms, send out meeting invitations, and manage meeting calendars.
• Assisting with project planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress.
• Processing invoices, assisting with bookkeeping and assisting with budget tracking.
• Greeted and interacted with clients and vendors professionally and addressed any concerns or questions they may have.
• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up new computers and equipment, managing network connections, and ensuring cyber security measures are in place.
• Coordinating communications between project managers, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Managing social media accounts, online marketing, and online advertising, as well as assisted with edits to the company website.
• Assisting with onboarding new employees, maintaining employee records, and coordinating training sessions.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
A university degree or business or public administration diploma may be required.
• Experience in a senior clerical or executive secretarial position related to office administration is usually required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Must be able to work independently in an unsupervised setting.
• Experience as an Office Coordinator for a minimum of 2 years.
• Background in construction, ability to read drawings and interpret quotes from tradesman and subcontractors an asset.
• Strong MS Office skills required.
• Experience with network connections, computer hardware and software programs.
JOB DETAILS:

• Location: Kamloops. BC
• Work Location: In person
• Terms of Employment: Full-Time, Permanent.
• Hours of work: 30 hours per week.
• Schedule: 6-hour shift. Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm
Flexibility to adjust hours to accommodate events booked and work overtime, if required.
• $54,000 per year. The role offers rises based on performance.
• Overtime: One and one-half times the regular wage rate as per provincial regulations.
BENEFITS
Vacation pay at 4%.
• Paid sick time of one week per year.
